I never go to Vegas without a blow out or manicure but I didn't have time before my trip so I decided to venture off the strip to get prettied up. Besides, getting a blow out in San Francisco is like throwing money in the trash. It's basically gone by the time you get on the plane.
Anyway, off strip is where it's at for salons. Why? Because I didn't want to spend $300 doing both of these things at Canyon Ranch. I'm sure it's a lovely salon experience, but I just couldn't do it.
The booking experience at iBlowdry's salon was painless and it was very easy to hop in an Uber over there from the Strip. I was the first client of the day, which was a little strange as I'm used to being in the assembly line at Drybar. Kimmy was my stylist and I loved her - she was really sweet and we had a great conversation while she gave me a wonderful blowout and a gel manicure that's lasted two weeks.
I highly recommend coming here and having a true local's experience of Vegas instead of the highly sanitized, rehearsed experience you get at a spa on the strip.
