  • I'm always impressed with this place. I've been here quite a bit, and I've never had a bad experience. The wine and beer selection is always great, and the prices are more than reasonable given the location. No matter what you're in the mood for or what your budget is, they have something that fits. They have plenty of bottles under $20 for the casual wine drinker, but nicer bottles well over $50 for the more mature taster. What really sets this place apart from the rest of Birkdale is the service and staff. Everybody there is always accommodating, friendly, and attentive. The live music inside is a tad loud for such a small place, but I appreciate their attempt at entertainment, and I don't think it's really a negative. 5 stars, no doubt.
