I've been trying to save money recently and was on the verge of painting my own toenails when my insight kicked in and I realized that my horrible feet needed more than a bit of polish to make them look like they belonged to a human being. I felt like a change from my usual place and Yelp threw up Yeti nails.
Some of the reviews had mentioned it being busy at times so I tried emailing for an appointment. I was actually kind of surprised to get a response with the 6pm Saturday appointment I'd asked for. I love it when businesses are contactable by email! It makes my life so much easier.
I arrived a little early but was taken straight away. The place is like your standard nail salon but is completely spotless. There's a wide range of colours-China Glaze, Essie etc and Shellac. Almost too much! The massage chair gave my back a good going over while the technician got to work on my hooves. I have to give her credit for only frowning very slightly when she saw the state of them and instead just getting to work. She also didn't laugh at my tiny-nailed second toe. It's an affliction! There was a nice leg massage too, even as part of the standard pedicure.
I wondered what one of the other reviews meant by them taking their time. Did it mean slow? It's actually the correct description. My technician wasn't slow but I never felt rushed, she was very gentle and completely meticulous with every bit of the pedicure. This was especially appreciated considering it was the end of the day and I'm sure they wanted to go home.
I love how much nicer my toes look now and my feet feel better. It was definitely worth the $25 price tag. And the best thing? They were all just so incredibly lovely! Not chatty during the treatment while I read my book but full of warm smiles and just the perfect amount of talk around it. I'll definitely return!
