A little story... there are two self checkout kiosks by the 6th street exit and one was out of commission. There's a checker that is standing around to supervise and help customers that need assistance with self checkout. And by the way... no checkers are manning the regular checkout desk. Wouldn't a competent manager... you know... move that person to man regular checkout because professional checkers are inherently faster than customers at self checkout?
I get that there are tradeoffs at this location (namely price and limited selections) for the convenience of being in uptown, but there have been far too many long checkout queues because of management incompetence that can easily be fixed. The only saving grace to this location is their chefs put out some decent sushi and the staff are generally friendly. Aside from that, this isn't a great store.
