  • When staying in Pittsburgh, this is a must!!! I just returned from a quick "staycation" and I must say I was impressed! Their attention to details is remarkable. Check in and out was a breeze and the entire staff (from front desk, house keeping, bartenders, etc) were all so friendly and helpful. I used the social password and won a bottle of wine! It was sent to my room with a hand written note and some delicious fruit to pair with the wine free of charge. Wine hour was great and their postcard station was so unique! Commoner's signature drinks were truly a work of art and a beer on the roof top bar is a must when staying at the Kimpton! Make sure to become a Karma Rewards Member (very easy to sign up) you get a $10 bar credit, free wifi, etc. I will be returning in the winter and trying out their soak tub for sure!
