This may be one of the stronger hotels in the Fairlawn area, but the age of the place really shows. My room on the top 4th floor had a newer desk built-in, new headboard structure, and new carpet. However, the mattress itself seemed older and the drapes on the half height window are truly hideous. The bathroom was in real need of updating - a common and distressing challenge in older places.
Room service was prompt and accurate. Bar downstairs has limited bar seating and was full both times I visited. Front desk and room service staff more polite and professional than typical in the category.
Would not stay again. I'd rather take my chances.
