  • Just picked up my doodle from the Dog Salon and she's looking fresh! The groomers were so friendly and very inviting. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because of the 8 hour wait time. Unfortunately, the only time I can get her groomed is on the weekend. Since I'm sure everyone else does this, they were slammed. I dropped her off at 11 AM and she wasn't ready until 7 PM. I personally think that amount of time is crazy and that you should only book appointments for the amount of time that you have to be able to groom them in a reasonable time frame. Now I don't know 100% what happens while I'm not there, but I would assume she was sitting in a cage for quite a long time. If you know your dog can't handle that, take them here at a non-busy time or not at all. They apologized for the long wait and seemed very sincere about it. I know the day doesn't always go as planned. Not even 10 minutes after I've gotten her home she's passed out, won't even acknowledge me, so I know the wait was stressful on her. Ziki's groom was very good. She always looks like a doofus when I give her her summer cut, so I wasn't expecting a wow (more like a giggle). I've been told she's very difficult when it comes to her paws, but they did an absolutely excellent job. I've never seen anyone do that good of a job on a dogs paws and the groomer must have excellent patience or a good grip to be able to do it. She even let me know about an issue with her nails and that my other groomer wasn't cutting them like they should be. I had no clue since she barely let's me touch her feet and my other groomer never cut them well enough to see her nails. I'm satisfied with the groom for the price+tip and i'll try them one more time to find out if the wait time today was a fluke.
