  • I had Lyon Roofing out to provide a bid on a roof repair. The person they sent out was polite during his visit. He took notes and promised to submit a bid the next day. Unfortunately, I didn't receive the bid the next day. I sent an email and left a voice mail a couple days later. His response was basically be didn't submit a bid because he could not warranty the work without replacing half the roof. No other roofing company took this position for a minor repair. Either way he didn't even bother to call or email to let me know his company cannot guarantee their work. It sounded like these guys don't want jobs unless they exceed $5-6K. Our job is just $3K. I guess business is going well for these guys. This is a major red flag and I would avoid Lyon Roofing.
