The first time we came, it was a cold day. The soil was wet and soggy. There were just a few plastic chairs for owners to sit.
The second time we came, there was a notice saying it was being renovated so we went in the walking trail instead.
Came here a week ago, the park had finished renovating it. From the outside the fences look nice and new and they had put in a few large boulders for ppl to sit on. There was no grass, it was replaced with gravel...which initially seemed like a good idea as it is easier to clean up until you realize it is uncomfortable for most dogs to walk on. We saw one dog staying at the concrete area, refusing to set foot on the gravel. This also makes it hard for dogs to chase each other and play.
Good intention but bad effect...
