  • I WOULD GIVE FAMILY MOVING EXPRESS ZERO STARS! They were late, they didn't listen to what I asked them to do, and for professional movers they were amateurs. I was referred to them by a friend recommending Aaron. I talked to Aaron and he was kind and was able to set up a move date when I needed it. Unfortunately, we did not get Aaron to move our furniture, we got Luis and John. John was okay but Luis was the problem. We had to move a large cactus and they disregarded my advice in wrapping the Cactus in a packing blanket before moving it and as a result they got stuck by the Cactus. The rest of the afternoon they were concerned about it because the Cactus was poisonous. If they listened to me they wouldn't have gotten stuck. We were also donating a bunch of boxes to Goodwill and told them they could have any of the boxes as long as they didn't open them and guess who ripped them open ....LUIS. Luis then proceeded to look through my tool box, which wasn't up for grabs. He did not listen for shit!! I don't know about you, but when I move refrigerators, I expect them to be hooked up properly in the new home. Well, Luis failed to hook it up properly and resulted in my kitchen flooding and damaging parts of my wood floor. I called Aaron to complain about the floor and see if they could fix it and Aaron said they weren't plumbers, it wasn't their fault because they weren't supposed to hook it up because it's in the contract. I didn't know they weren't allowed to hook it up, John and Luis didn't let us know, so Luis went ahead and did it. We did not have many things to move and it took 6 hours costing us $600!! Since they took at least 5 large donation boxes and a sofa, I figured that was their tip because they didn't do a great job moving my things. I told Luis and John that I didn't have much cash and Luis said "our tip has to be cash so we don't get taxed on it. If you don't have enough we can meet you somewhere." Really? Like I would tip you extra after not listening to me at all? Not a chance. I would not recommend them to a friend, ever. Better off getting some friends together to help you move!
