I go here every year since it is my favorite haunted attraction and they never disappoint. Until now.
My friends and I arrived on a Thursday evening. As always there are people to direct you were to park (which is very nice) since they are usually packed. Tonight, there was not a long line to wait in so we walked right in.
We were in the attraction and the beginning was scary and got the job done. Their attention to detail is amazing. But as we continued, there was no one working in the rooms. There would probably be one person for every 6-7 rooms we went through (which is very disappointing). And then we ended up catching up to the group in front of us because there was nothing to prolong our stay as we walked. Catching up to a group really destroys the scare factor because you can hear what is going to happen. By the time it was our "turn" to be scared, the person (wow someone actually working) was already out of their hiding spot just standing there.
The whole walkthrough lasted probably 30-40 minutes but would have been longer if there were actually people working. If you are going to have a haunted house opened on a week day, make sure you have enough help to keep customers satisfied. (And bring back the chainsaws and maze!)
