| - I had to go to city hall to get my marriage license. While there wasn't much of a lineup midday on a Friday, the waiting time was insane. Each couple took about 20 minutes - and that was if they had everything in order!
The parking situation is simple and quite cheap at $1 per hour, and located in the heart of Mississauga, so really you could park at the mall and walk over if you wanted to save some money. Nice and air-conditioned inside, but not much to do while you're waiting.
The staff was nice enough, though I wasn't pleased that I was given opposing information on the phone and in person, which resulted in me having to go home, get more documents and return only to wait in line AGAIN. It was a frustrating process due to that piece, but otherwise I had a decent experience. I like that you can enter from anywhere and find your way to the office. I parked underground the first time, and on the side of the road when I returned. Both times allowed me to easily access the building, with not much of a walk despite being on the opposite end.
The marriage licenses in Mississauga are a little pricier than other cities, but unless you have a reason to drive to Brock, Ingersol or Whitby, might as well go local.
