The free eye exams keeps my family coming back to this America's Best. The ads for two pair of eyeglasses do not include trifocals (which both my husband and I wear). They also try and up-sell you to tinted, anti-glare coatings, etc options that can easily double the cost of the glasses.
The parking is in the basement, there is a slow motion elevator to take you to the second floor where the office is. The office had worn carpet, uncomfortable chairs, and a showroom of glasses frames for you to browse while waiting for your eye exam or after your eye exam while waiting to select your glasses. The optometrists have always done a good eye exam.
We did have one negative experience with this office a few years ago. I put the eyeglass purchase on a credit card. When the bill came in they had not only charged my credit card for my eyeglasses, but had another customer's eyeglasses charged to my card! The office gave me a toll free number to call, their accounting office in another state, but was able to promptly reverse the incorrect charges. So if you pay by credit card, be sure to carefully review your statement when it comes in.
