This review is long overdue.
I wish I could have written this a year ago but this facility has had my hands tied because I knew a bigger problem was going to arrive if I posted anything on here while I was a current patient or tried to go to a new physician.
I write this review as a warning to all new and prospective clients thinking about coming here. The first warning is do not come here if you have insurance. The practice makes less money from clients with Insurance and because of this you become less important and never a priority. Now you may not believe what I am going to say but this is all 100% true. The office is always busy and expect a 60-180min wait every single time you go no matter the time of the appointment or if you arrive early or late to your appointment. I often was contacted a few hours prior to my appointment stating my insurance has been cancelled but this is because they are trying to get rid of me as a client because I had insurance. This became a regular thing and because I had insurance Dr. Bellota did not want to see me every month because she doesn't get paid the same from my visits compared to cash visits. This raises a red flag to me that she is pocketing money without reporting it to the IRS because this office ONLY ACCEPTS CASH. I stayed here 2 years because finding a new doctor I know could result in a lapse of my medication. So I tried changing doctors and then I was informed it would be $50 to get my records. Because of this I stayed and that was a huge mistake. September 2017 was my last Visit to see Dr. Bellota. I received my 2 months medication and set an appointment for November. I received confirmation emails and texts stating my appointment was 10am the following day. I then woke up at 9am and saw a new email stating I was dropped as a client and my appointment at 10am was cancelled. I called the office and was put on hold. They never got back to me and I called 2 more times and the same thing happened. They could see my caller ID so this was fully planned. By 10am I decided to go to the office. When I arrived they said sorry they can't help me anymore. I complained. Then I waited an hour and then they said it was their mistake my insurance is taken. Then they said I can't be seen because it's 12:30pm now and I'm late for my appointment! Then said all November is booked and the doctor is gone ALL OF DECEMBER! I said I needed my medication, and they said they would call it in. Well that never happened and since November 10th I am still without my medication as they don't answer my phone calls.
Update: 02/21/18. It was been 3 weeks since I requested my old medical history from this facility and it remains hostage and I am still without medication from my new doctor.
This was the worst experience I have ever had and feel terrible for everyone I have seen been treat horribly by the admins when I waited almost 2hrs every single appointment I went to.
Update: they changed the name of the Clinic to "MIND BRAIN INSTITUTE" but only thing new is a remodel.
