  • Alt is a chic, colorful, industrial styled boutique hotel, that's quite a refreshing break from the monotonous cookie-cutter chains. The rooms are simple, but very smartly designed. Beds are super comfy. There was a Keurig machine located behind my bed. Refrigerator available upon request. I loved the full size toiletries in the bathroom (body wash, shampoo, condish and lotion). So much more practical and environmentally friendly than mini-bottles that are usually never enough for grown ass adults! The lobby is fitted with comfy lounge seating (rocking chairs!), collaborative workspaces and a snack bar. Coffee is available at the check-in desk and wine/beer is sold in the afternoon for Happy Hour (until 7p). The 7th floor has an outdoor terrace, business center and very stylish meeting rooms. Strong, reliable WiFi. Very friendly and efficient staff. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant, however there are lots of delicious eateries within walking distance. Starbucks is attached. For breakfast, check out Coco Loco and La Bête a Pain. For dins, Pizza Moretti. Basically, you'll never go hungry. Daily parking rate: $28CAD with in/out access.
