I've been a patient twice at this hospital and while I despise hospitals - which goes back to when my mother was constantly in the hospital - things here where pretty good.
Both of my visits started in the Emergency room which can be a bit chaotic. The first visit was on July 4th a few years ago and all the nutjobs seemed to be in the ER for various reasons so someone with shortness of breath seemed to get less priority. But they kept checking on me sent me to other areas for tests and eventually saw something in my lung and admitted me as a patient.
Throughout my weeklong stay I felt cared for. The nurses were really nice and very accommodating. The orderlies is where I had the most problem. They just didn't seem to care how they got you from one location to another in the hospital. Oh and don't expect to actually rest when you are admitted. Someone is in every hour to check your vitals or give you a shot.
My 2nd stay was just an overnighter for a panic attack. Stayed in a room just off of the ER but it was quiet and the staff was still accommodating.
