| - Two weeks ago, we brought our truck in on a Sunday to have it inspected for repairs. The service manager said that it would be $19.95 if we didn't get the work done there, but we knew that the repairs would far exceed that, so we were willing to take the risk.
They called on Monday and promised to do the work at the price promised, and my husband was certain they seemed to be trying to keep it as cheap as possible. It still ended up right under $1,000, but we knew it would.
The truck seems to have come out fixed. We were really happy with that! My husband used to work in the industry, so he is usually very hard to please.
Therefore, a week later, when we decided to invest in getting the front of the car fixed, we called them back and again scheduled a Sunday drop off. Monday, they again called the husband and it came back as $138, including an oil change. They did say that the car could use $700 worth of work, but with 158,000 miles on it, we didn't want to put that kind of money into it. It's just a short distance commuter car at this point, so we did the cheaper option. There wasn't a hard sale on it, and we were thankful for that.
Picked the car up Monday night and so far, knock on wood, it's good. We'll be taking any future repairs back there.
Thanks, guys!
