If you can suck it up, it's a great deal! And when I mean suck it up, I mean the cigarette smoke that follows you back to your room (even though the wing we stayed in had nonsmoking rooms). I never had an issue with the Hotel staff and the wait time for check-in/out was less than 5 minutes. We stayed at the Hotel on Wednesday night for $27 and Thursday night for $35 so the prices do fluctuate, but they are still a great deal.
We got a taxi ride to the strip from the Hotel for $10 + tip so if you don't mind walking (it really isn't that far) save your change and stroll down Flamingo instead. The hotel is less than a 20 minute walk from the strip so you can enjoy all of the bells and whistles that Las Vegas Blvd has to offer.
The Hotel offers a free shuttle from the airport (but we did not use it). You will hear the planes fly over the Hotel so if you are a light sleeper be warned. They have plenty of free parking surrounding the Hotel and I also saw that they had a parking garage as well. They also provided free Wi-Fi.
We did not try the buffet, but we did try the cafe. Extremely large portions for a considerable price. It wasn't anything to write home about, but it did the trick without breaking the bank. They appeared to be short staffed when we went on Wednesday night, but our waitress was very apologetic and did her best to see to it that we were taken care of.
Overall, it's a great deal and you can't beat the location, but you really do need to have a high tolerance for cigarette smoke.
