Kevin is a nice guy and was quick to ask if there were any questions. As a first time home buyer, I completely relied on him to find things that I couldn't see. He gave me what seemed to be a long list of items that were wrong but I have since found out it was quite short for the house I moved into last spring. Things that I have since found that were not on the inspection: master bedroom and adjacent bedroom closets were separated improperly by a thick piece of composite wood that was loose, crooked, and secured only by thin moulding strips. Master closet shelves were crooked and falling off. The guest bathroom vanity was completely rotten and had massive water damage. Master bathroom shower wall and base not sealed and do not fit together. A 1/4" average gap is all around the base. I could keep going but I will stop because I think you get the point. My home was built in 1970 and I believe the houses that Kevin primarily inspects are at least 30 years older. If you have an old house, find someone else. I easily paid $65 more than what the house was worth with the repairs I've had to make.
