Another friend fail...
She told me that this place is owned by a Japanese couple, therefore the food must be authentic. I trusted her coz she's Asian. What is up with my Asian friends not knowing what authentic is! First of all, sushi is not traditionally drizzled with sweet eel sauce! Secondly, I hate it when Krab and mayo is used as a filler. Both of these method tell me that the true flavor of the raw fish is masked. The tako was like rubber! The salmon was the best one of all.
They run happy hour all day at half off the original price of $4 to $12, a plus! I also love the decor, very chic! I have to give them credit for great service.
The tempura shrimp and veggies are soggy and tasteless. Almost like the tempura batter had been sitting there for awhile.
I will have to go back to try their Shabu Shabu and other noodle dishes. We may even sit at the bar and ask for their sashimi or sushi chef special, that might change my next review.
