UPDATE 07/20/16: I'm updating my review- Aqua Science made everything right- they sent out a tech to replace the broken part (the part they said we didn't replace the year before but really had)- no charge! They also refunded our service charge from the visit before- big kudos for that. We had the service charge because we didn't have any work done with that original visit (which again wouldn't have been the case had we been given the right info)
Last June we had our water softener system serviced and paid over $300 to have parts replaced (which was a deal supposedly)- now here we are this June and the tech says the same part is not working (resin bed) and that there is no record of the work we had done by them last year- something about 2 systems not merging- but that they'd be happy to give me a discount on a new system. Funny you have no record because my credit card company sure does. The tech (though super nice) also informed me that even when parts are replaced they have no warranty on them- so I mean what keeps you from charging me over $300 for some work and parts that you could care less if it last 2 weeks or 2 years? We had planned to have the water softener, RO system and hot water heater serviced that day- but after the convo of the same part being bad we replaced last year and no record of work we had done last year my husband said to pass- too bad I had to pay $75 for nothing- $75 for a service charge to do what? Scam me? Waste my time? My husband called the next day to talk to a manager and was told he'd be in around 10 or 11 that day- funny- here we are a few days later w/ no call yet- guess the manager never showed, huh? I absolutely get things break, I totally get parts stop working and need replaced- what I don't get is you having no record of over $300 worth of services and parts from a year ago, I don't get how in the world you could replace something that goes bad a year later (the original one I had before you replaced it lasted me almost 10 years), and I don't get why I paid $75 to be lied to basically. And don't take a message for a manager to call back if you have no intention of passing on the info. Super disappointed- super annoyed I'm out $75- and definitely would not recommend a company that can't return calls.
