  • At first I was excited that a gourmet coffee shop had opened up in Yorkdale where I do most of my sopping, but was disappointed once I tasted some of their goodies. The orange almond muffin I tried was stale and the goodies seemed like they were sitting there for at least over 24 hours. I'm a baker so I notice these things, instead of using orange juice or zest like you should in a gourmet baked good, they had used concentrated orange flavour which gave left a bitter chemical after taste in my mouth, and no real butter. However the coffee was god and it wasn't too busy. It was a great place to sit down and take a break while shopping.
