Disclaimer: I am by no means an expert in Hispanic cuisine, grocery stores, or anything more exotic than brown mustard. I am, however, a fan of foods that look like they are made from ingredients that can be found in nature, or have been removed from an animal. For this reason, Phoenix Farms was a lot of fun for me. Their coolers had a variety that extended from tripe to pig's feet, sausages to pre-seasoned fajita meat. My regret is that I ate before coming in the store, so I was unable to sample any of the food they serve at the restaurant corner of the store. I plan to be back to pick up more apple-soda, empanadas and enjoy the friendly service this little grocer provides.
