  • I work at a location very close to The Strand. I called if they offer discounts to their neighbors (most restaurants downtown do..) and they don't, but I still ordered to go. The Bolognese is good... Maybe two small portions if you want to split it for two lunches. I asked if they could include bread, she said they would but when I opened my order up when I got to my desk, there was no bread. Should have confirmed when I picked it up but would have been nice if they did so without a reminder. It's the small things that matter to me... The taste of the Bolognese is okay, not anything super amazing but it was just shy of $11 for the entree. Also will ask for more sauce next time. So I'll try the take out again but will have to triple check my order at pick up.
