My bike chain broke so I brought my bike to The Cyclepath (Danforth location). They told me I needed this that and the other thing plus labour. They up saled me but good. Total price $250. I pick up my bike a couple days later and it rides like you know what. I bring it back and tell them that it rides even worse than before. They say they will fix it. I tell them that I will not invest another cent into the bike. Some history: Bike was purchased at a different location for close to $700 (Giant Rapid)
Here is where it gets bizarre. Employee calls me and tells me that I need another part however this was never mentioned to me initially.
I said I am not investing anymore money and that this should all have been diagnosed with the initial diagnostic assessment.
Owner (Christina), I don't believe she is, calls and says I should take the back bike, get a refund and they will put back the old parts. funny thing is, the bike rides better now than it did before and after fixing it.
place is very unprofessional; never once apologized or empathized with the situation. they never took ownership for their mistakes and I don't think Christina can spell customer service
