  • Unfortunately, I came back here twice after and my experiences were not the same. The guys are great but the issue was: I got my screen replaced because it eventually broke again due to my error (7 months after they fixed it). The phone worked great after their repair. However, even after purchasing a phone protector case from them (the first time they fixed it), after I left their shop this time, the screen went haywire. I went back to the store and they replaced my screen with a slightly cracked one, explaining that this damaged screen was just temporary for now so I could use the phone. He stated he didn't have access to retrieve the new screens because the manager was not there. He said they would call me that same day in a couple hours. Not a problem. After I left, within hours, the top part of the screen cracked across the whole phone. There was no impact, no phone dropped, no unusual force. I thought this was strange. So now, in addition to the small crack on the bottom of the temporary screen, there was this one. But the screen still worked and I figured they would call me in. I never heard back from them to come in to replace the temporary screen, so I went in a couple days later. I told them I was back for the screen replacement and showed them the new crack. He said they would have to charge me $45.00 for the extra crack, even though it was damaged. I said, okay, I understand. They replaced my screen and I played around with it and everything was in working order. I left the shop and within hours, the screen cracked in the same exact area as the last one. This is when I thought, this is not my error...something is wrong with the glass? This crack traversed the upper part of the phone. I was leaving to California in that instant and was on a tight schedule and the phone's screen began to go haywire again. I couldn't make calls or answer texts, etc. (First world problems, I know :) So I was in California for over a week without a working iphone..which in essence, was kind of nice in some respects but damn inconvenient. I came back and went to another repair place who stated that they would shave down the frame because the glass might have been cracking due to a protrusion on the metal frame. It's been fixed now and so far so good. At first, I questioned the quality of the glass here. But maybe it was due to the fitting. And maybe they should have noticed if the frame had some deformity? I'm still giving them stars because they fixed my phone the first time....but I'm on the fence to their reaction on me calling to advise them that my phone had cracked within a couple hours (twice) after leaving their store. It was basically, "No one has called here with this problem." Granted, I try and understand their side and maybe some customers are full of sh&*( too. However, they were supposed to repair the phone and notice if the frame had something causing the glass to break. Anyone could see this as, 'Their glass is bad quality.' But I honestly could not explain why the screens kept breaking after I left their store, with no impact or any force. I DO believe their intentions are good but am trying out other repair services (if I should need) due to their unhelpful reaction.
