| - I was not impressed with the service I received at this establishment. I had decided to give this place a try since it was very close to my house and I was planning on going to California over the weekend. This was my first time ever having a manicure/pedicure, but the reviews on Yelp were very high, so I was moderately excited.
It was short lived. I was seated in their spa area where my feet soaked in what could easily be described as "tepid" water. I didn't feel like I was off to a good start, but I tried to stay positive. After about 10 minutes of "soaking", an Asian male approached me and asked what kind of service I wanted. I told him a French manicure, but he continually asked me if I had picked a color. I didn't expect that French tips came in all colors of the rainbow, so I told him to perform a basic French tip. He was not very friendly or talkative, and he kept complaining about the length of my nails. I had mentioned that if they were too short, I wouldn't mind paying for acrylics, but he just mumbled incoherently in a foreign language. Also, a minor yet irritating occurrence, the woman working on the customer next to me kept staring at my feet the entire time! My feet are not gross, nor are they dirty. I was half expecting her to ruin her customer's foot!
The only saving grace was the woman who performed my pedicure. She was very polite, friendly, and thorough. Unlike her male counterpart, she only asked what color I wanted ONCE and did an excellent job prepping and paining my toes. The male really did a horrid job on my nails. I would've taken a picture of them if I were not so disgusted by the final result. My 2 year old daughter could've done the same job for free!
Long story short, save your money and look elsewhere for better customer service and value.
