I love Malee's, as does everyone else it seems! How else do you explain a business staying around for 30+ years?
Although my previous encounters here were part of the Arizona Food Tour, those tasting samplers finally enticed me to come for dinner.
Wanting to make the most of a warm evening, we asked for a table on their "patio". Which is more of tables lined on the sidewalk, and because it was during the Old Town Art Walk, the sidewalks were quite busy. So depending on your preference, this might not be for you. For us, we loved people watching (ok, we were dog and baby watching lol) as we waited for our food.
Two appies (siamese kisses and Thai hot wings) and an order of pad thai was the perfect amount for the two of us. Everything had the right amount of heat to it and my GF (who has been to Thailand) said the food tasted quite authentic.
There are so many other items I'd like to try, so I know my future trips back to Scottsdale will always include a stop into Malee's.
