The food quality and service has diminished greatly in the last couple of years. They've expanded the restaurant, which is the only plus because now it's not cramped.
This used to be my favorite spot, but I wish I never tried it again. I haven't been here for a couple of years because Sakana stole my heart. I should have left it that way.
Let's start with the service. I have never been to a empty AYCE sushi restaurant that takes like 30 minutes to get you 2 nigiri (because they only served us 1 order every 10 minutes for some reason). It was hard to get the waitresses attention and she always looked annoyed when we asked for our food.
Food: I left here still hungry and that's not supposed to happen after an AYCE restaurant, but I literally couldn't order anything else because it was unappetizing. You can't really taste any vinegar in the sushi rice. Nothing at all stood out as, "I need that again!" The rice to fish ratio was not very good. They give you some really small pieces of fish in the nigiri and that's why I even come to a place like this.
