  • Hey, how about you stop with all the craziness for two seconds and spend some money at a local bookstore? The Writer's Block is a cute little bookstore a short walk from the Fremont Street Experience. I always like to visit a local bookstore when I travel. If you're anything like me, The Writer's Block is exactly what you're looking for. It's small. There's not a million books, but it is a well curated selection. You could definitely find yourself a poolside page turner for your Vegas vacation. It's also the only place I know of where you can adopt an artificial birb. See photos. Local bookstores need your money. Take your money and give it to local bookstores. Five stars.
