  • Full disclosure: This theatre is the closest to where I live. That said, I have been to a number of other theatres across the GTA and this one deserves to be tops. Within the hustle and bustle of the Yonge &Eglinton area, this theatre is extend beyond the basic operation of showing movies. Logistically, there is parking underground for the Yonge Eglinton Centre Mall.If you don't mind walking, you can park on some of the local streets for free but be prepared to walk at least one kilometre and of course, it's right above the Eglinton TTC station which will also be a future hub to the Eglinton Crosstwon LRT. As far as amenities, there is a games room for kids to spend some tokens and a party room if you want to host a birthday or special event. For the movie buff, there is an Ultra AVX screen that is also equipped with D-Box seating for those wanting to add chair motion to their viewing experience. If you want some extra comfort and have some extra money in the spending budget, they opened three VIP theatres late in 2015 with large recliner seating and in-chair food delivery service. Just like every other Cineplex, Tuesdays are half price and they have a VIP date night on Wednesdays where $56 (tax incl.) gets you two VIP movie passes and two entrees. This location has it all and in one convenient (for me) location.
