Our dog has been going to this location for a few years now and we recently moved to another vet. Years ago, they were going to operate on him, saying he had a bad leg. At the last minute--on the day of surgery--the doctor said he wanted to check for one more thing (Valley Fever). Sure enough, the test came back positive for Valley Fever! There was no need to operate on him! That should have been a green light to not go there anymore, but my family wanted to continue using them. Recently, he's been having pain and weakness and we were told that he has arthritis. My gut feel said no, there's something more than that because of how miserable he was. We took him to another vet that had positive ratings here on Yelp and sure enough, he tested positive for having Valley Fever again! I am giving this location a 1 star, not because of the staff. They are very nice. But the mis-diagnosis that has happened twice now and that could have caused a surgery that wasn't needed is why I'm giving it a 1 star. Seeing our dog suffer in pain and not being given the right answer is inexcusable to me as a pet owner (not to mention expensive too with the repeated visits) and it's why we've sought out a different location instead. I would have hoped to give a higher rating, but mis-diagnosis is something serious and it's happened now more than once.
