  • The home that I purchased had the water softener which has Valley Environmental's logo and phone number. I called to have the softener serviced. A nice man came out to my home charged me $150.00 to replace the filters on my R/O system and then looked at the softener system. Said I would have to have them take the tube out to the shop and have them re bead the cylinder which would cost about $350.00. Today I have black water coming out the faucets and in my toilets. I look online a plumbing company says first try to back wash, then it may need cleaning. Valley Environmental never ever suggested or tried to back wash. He only poured a packet of cleaner in my salt reservoir. I Do NOT RECOMMEND!
