This place ROCKS!
Before I give a review, ask to be served by the waiter named Steve from the Ivory Coast. He is the greatest living waiter on Earth. When God created the greatest waiter on Earth, he made him of French Lebanese descent and he sprung out from the Cote d'ivoire.
This place replaced the missed American Fish, another Michael Mina spot. This haunt is Mina's take on French food (greatest in the world). The bar itself is worth in the millions. No penny was spared creating this place and Michael's wife can be seen here every so often.
All salads and soups are solid orders. Many of the apps are near top notch. But what anyone cares about are the main courses.
The flank steak is ELITE. The ribeye and all other steaks I have eaten all rate a 8 or more out of 10. The sides are a bit too small for sharing for more than two people. The mushrooms side is more of a pastry than a mushroom dish Asparagus and brussel sprouts sides are really good, totally French style. Fish dishes all rate a 8 out of 10. I had the cod, salmon and sea bass and to me reverse the order I just stated for taste and quality.
All deserts are high end. I recommend the banana desert.
All cocktails are of high quality and all have a special flare to them. Heck, all the dudes behind the bar are friendly, ready to serve, want to talk to you and have no heirs.
