I had lunch here today with a friend around 1pm, and it was empty, except for one or two parties. However, I felt reassured when I realized the owner was Japanese.
I ordered the Katsu-don and my friend ordered the unagi don off the lunch menu, so both of our orders were each under $10. Really reasonable, especially with the addition of miso soup, salad, and dumpling & chicken skewer.
We both ate everything - we were super hungry but the meal was also really good.
Decor is alright - pretty outdated, but the food was great, so I can't complain too much. I would definitely come back!
