I've never dealt with the AF before. It seems like a great organization so when they offered free adoption on August 19th 2017. I went to see about adopting a cat. I did read there post that specify that there may be an hour wait for paperwork. I was well prepared for that but when I got to the event it was outside with tents they provided water but I waited 2 hours and unfortunately didn't even get to see any animals. I did have prior appointment I had to honor. I didn't expect to have to spend 3 to 4 hours to adopt a cat. The time to wait to see any animals should be posted as well. Talk about how there would be a longer wait time due to how successful the event is. I'm just saying I would have prepare for the wait time if I had known.
