This place appears to be coasting by on the Wolfgang Puck now. Located pretty much smack dab in the middle of the MGM Grand, this place to brings in the tourist, me included.
Staff was friendly enough, I sat at the bar and the female bartender really took care of me. She was helpful and checked on me just enough as I enjoy a football game on the screen above the bar.
Food was just okay, nothing special. I started with a seasonal soup, it happened to be butternut squash, flavorful but not overly feeling. Followed it up with the tempura battered fish and chips. Fish was a little too greasy for my taste and fries were lukewarm and nothing special.
Best part of the meal was the pineapple mojito, well crafted, great hint of alcohol and nice flavor with the pineapple. Well made drink.
All in all, you can go to say you went but I wouldn't rush to make it on the hit list unless you can get a comp from the hotel.
