| - This is a hard review to write because before going here I had a really positive attitude about this business. I like to support women owned businesses, and this shop offers free classes to women to teach auto basics. I pretty much got the same treatment as any other auto shop...oh you really need THIS, not what you came in for, which was a slight hesitation with acceration and a oil pan leak. I got new axles and a undercarrage protector..that was useless after 2 weeks. When I bought the car in I asked for the transmission fluid to be checked, the hesitation felt like a transmission issue...when I picked it up it was 10 times worse. When the transmission fluid was finally checked it was almost 2 quarts low. Poof! Car ran better, but still was worse than I had before. After many emails with the owner, I recieved what I thought was a refund...this was early April. I had disputed the charge with my bank..after recieving my funds, and a reciept stating I owed nothing, I notified the bank that the issue was resolved and to stop the dispute. The same amount was taken out and put back into my account again in late April. 5/31...taken out AGAIN but not returned...the bank says the merchant won the dispute, that was dropped in early April...at first this business said they had not removed funds, then it changed to...yes we won the dispute so...
This has pretty much wiped me out. I have lost more than anyone should have to for a car repair, including my pet of nine years to heat stroke. I am still fighting with bank, informed the FDIC and better business beurea.
I am giving two stars because part of this is bank error, there was no dispute after I recieved my funds back in early April. I think this shop could do the right thing and either refund or let me set up a payment plan. How many people can handle 1813.48 out of their bank account with no communication almost two months later?
