  • Thanks to Kris U and a few comments I read on Yelp about Popovich Pet Comedy, I was lucky enough to get two tickets to watch the show. Check your e-mails in case there are any more free events. It was quite a popular show. For an uptown theatre, I was impressed with the size. The best part is free parking! I am so sick and tired of having to pay for parking each time I go somewhere so that was a huge plus for me, and for a packed theatre there was ample of parking spots too. There's also plenty of space up in the balcony and I'm sure no matter where you sit, the view is going to be decent as there isn't anything obstructing the views from what I've noticed. Similar to most theatres, there's a bar just outside, and a space to greet the actors/actresses for those who choose to greet the audience after the show. During the show, the ushers seemed strict about others taking photos and videos. Personally for me, I was impressed as it can be frustrating watching a show and the person in front of you is taking photos/videos. Also, I'm sure the performers would not want others taking photos while they are performing. Surprisingly, there were still people trying to take photos and the ushers had to go up to them and tell them to stop using their device, or they flashed the flashlight at you. Oh well, what can you do. If there was another show playing there, I would not mind going again!
