| - I placed two online order to pick up in store.over the last couple of days. It was fairly simple to pick up the items, but I believe it took a little longer than necessary. Instead of bringing out both items together, I was brought one and then the associate had to locate the other.
I asked if I could ring up my items there. The Associate informed me that items could not be rung up there, but I could go to electronics and it would be quick. At electronics, there was no associate at the counter, but there was someone in line. I stood behind them. The Associate comes back to the register and brushes past another person in my party without even saying excuse me. She goes to a further register and doesn't say anything to the 2 of us in line that we need to move to another location. She allowed another person to stand somewhere else and form a new line. The 2 of is in the original line had to move behind the other people. Who know what the hold up was, but she was not moving on to anyone else, so I left for the self checkout. That was another mistake.
At the self checkout, there were multiple people with their red lights on waiting for help. There was only 1 associate there and she was ringing people up at a register. We had to wait for her to complete her checkout process to start clearing out those that needed help. During checkout, we had some produce. After we laid, my mother pointed out that the broccoli could not have weighed what the machine charged up for. We had the associate, Dorothy, verify. It had definitely come up wrong the first time. She could not do anything about it since we had already paid, but told us to go to returns and let them know what the correct weight was. She said we wouldn't have to come back over to the checkout lanes even after I pointed out that returns had no scales. She told is to just give them her name if there was an issue.
Now, time for another line. Walmart is full of line after line. We finally made it to the counter. We let the associate, Tiana, know what Dorothy had told us. She told us that was all wrong and we shouldn't have been given that information. She had to leave her register to take her next steps. We thought she was adjusting the purchase, but she came back after a while and just verifies the weight with us. She was extremely snooty in the way she spoke to us. We were told she could do the refund, but we would have to go back out and repurchase the item. I let her know there was no way we were going back out there to stand in the line again. She was quite presumptuous in telling us that we could just step up to Dorothy because she shouldn't have a line. She then also tells us that we could just leave the item there after the refund, we "don't have to repurchase it." I found her attitude quite condescending and did not appreciate the way she spoke to my mother or myself.
These employees definitely need some training in customer service.
