| - I've decided not to buy a season pass to Canada's Wonderland for the first time in 4 years. While there are many good people working at Wonderland, apathetic and unskilled employees are its biggest problem.
- Ordering lunch took 30 minutes, even at 1:00 pm. In Coasters, only one line was open. People were backed up waiting for their food orders, while many customers were getting angry because their orders were wrong or being given to people who had been waiting less time. The staff managing the orders seemed way out of their league, and management was nowhere to be found. I watched half of my order sit for 10 minutes while the other half was given to someone behind me in line. By the time I received the rest of my food, half of it was cold.
- While standing in line at Time Warp, the employee managing the line (named Dey) called out to ask if there were any groups of 2. 2 guys who were behind at least 3 other groups of 2 rushed forward. Instead of being told to get back in line, they were allowed onto the ride. After they got off the ride, while we were still waiting in line, they asked the employee if they could ride again. To my amazement, they were told that they could, and they were allowed to ride again without having to get back in line.
- When purchasing a souvenir cup, I was overcharged. Apparently the cashier thought the price was $10, when it was actually $9 ($7 + $2 to upgrade the size). I have to wonder how many other people were overcharged throughout the day.
- Last year, I really enjoyed the new Wonder Mountain's Guardian attraction. This year, there's a sign posted outside saying any loose items must be secured in a nearby locker. These lockers, however, require payment. Why must guests now pay to rent a locker instead of stashing their items in a bin next to the ride, as most other rides do? Ridiculous.
- $20 parking... need I say more?
I also experienced a variety of issues at the park last year, which I won't get into here. I can't say that I'll never return, but putting up with the hassle is no longer worth going several times a year for me.
