| - It has never before been more important to write a Yelp review than now, for this magnificent establishment filled with even more magnificent people. I came in with shortness of breath and an awful cough. I have a history of asthma-like issues, couldn't find my inhaler, and I felt desperate. I came in and noticed right away that the front staff, Shenna in particular, was hyper vigilant to every person who walked in and out of the lobby. Right away her wonderful multitasking skills were very apparent, as well as her wonderful humor amongst her coworkers and people checking in or out. I noticed she was very diligent about making sure everyone had all the information they needed (and then some) about insurance and other topics. She freely gave such friendly and honest information and that was so refreshing. Once the commotion of the line died down she took the time to check on every person in the lobby. She related with everyone and even made the very heartfelt comment that "she hates seeing people sick" with the most genuine, soft, warm concern I had ever seen from a medical receptionist. She offered a woman water, and the woman seemed too embarrassed to say yes so Shenna just made the extra effort to get up and bring every single person in the lobby a small water bottle. She called me up to get some information and noticed I was having trouble breathing. She looked visibly concerned and rushed back to inform the staff of my condition. THEN, she rushed around and Moises- a nurse- came and got me. He came equipped with a machine to measure my oxygen levels and treated me with such a level of urgency and kindness that I couldn't believe it. Somehow my oxygen levels were normal, but he still treated me urgently and with so much respect and kindness. He rushed me into a room and even went as far to say that the room was special for emergencies, and even if this wasn't an emergency at the moment, it would be good for me to be in there in case it turned into one. He made sure I was comfortable, patiently waiting for me to adjust on the exam table, and offered to bring me water. He was so incredibly friendly!
I was so happy that I literally cried once he left the room.
I have never had many good experiences with hospitals or urgent care facilities. I had officially given up, thinking I just wouldn't ever get to experience anyone who cares or who treats people with kindness and genuine concern for their health. But that all changed today thanks to the staff at CareNow Urgent Care on Silverado Ranch and Maryland Parkway. Erin, another nurse came in, and she was just absolutely phenomenal. She has a wonderful personality and it's apparent that she was born to help people. She listened so patiently and carefully, and even joked with me. I felt so comfortable with every single person I had encountered. I felt gratitude down to my very bones. I tried expressing my gratitude to each of them, to which they were incredibly kind and receptive! They cared about my opinion! I don't know if I'll ever really have the words for how grateful I am for such a wonderful group of people, but I honestly had to try. These people really do deserve recognition. Dr. Dennis Cendana Also deserves recognition for being so patient and kind. The kindness only increased until the very moment I was about to leave. I overheard them saying I was so "patient and sweet." I felt appreciated for just being myself! Even though I feel sick and awful, I'm overwhelmed with happiness for the people and place I encountered today. Thank you to everyone who helped me!
