Great selection, and they label the USA made shoes clearly as such (though they don't carry any USA made Danner boots, in spite of carrying Danners).
Prices are MSRP-ish. This is not a discount outlet.
Some time ago I had a pair of boots resoled here (well, through the now-defunct Baraboo location, but same repair service, I believe). It took a long time and wasn't done very well.
There's a weird vibe here. The employees are a little nervous, and the owner seems like he runs too tight of a ship. The owner has to play this little game with shoes that are clearly marked with sale prices -- he has to come up to the register and hand-write the price on the box.... making sure the customer realizes what a great guy he is for marking down the prices to something reasonable? Making sure the employees don't make a two dollar mistake? (I doubt they will; they seem very competent.) I don't know, but it is a little weird.
