| - Mixed emotions about the free service the RTC provided for New Year's 2017. It was free, so what better than that, right? Except that you do get what you pay for, so I guess you can't complain when it's free.
On the way from Sahara and Paradise to Bally's off of Koval and Flamingo, where the Deuce stopped, it was slow. That was okay. And we accepted that, because traffic was bad. The lady driving was a gem. She was the spirit of Happy New Year and very professional.
On the way home, after the fireworks, The Deuce changed routes and left us waiting, hours. It took us from midnight to 3:30 a.m. to get home. We could have driven in ten minutes. The buses were too full and turning people away. The type of busriders were the type that charge ahead and knock down an old lady to be first in line. We thought to save drinking and driving, it would be more of a mix of normal people.
It wasn't. And after getting cold cocked at the bus stop, waiting to come home by some punk that wanted to fight everyone...I won't EVER take the bus in Las Vegas again, even though it's not their fault. It's the clients they get. Thank God the boy hit like a bitch, or my head would be hurting today, because I'm 63 and not in great shape. I didn't even provoke his anger. He was fighting anyone and hitting everyone and ran off, before the cops could get him. He was a wimp with more bark that punch, because my grandchildren can hit harder.
And that's why I won't be taking this service again. After getting cold cocked and the police holding the bus for one second so we could get on, the bus driver allowed this punk on the bus at the next stop on Sahara. Then, when he tried to start another fight with my husband, with his three friends, the idiot bus driver threatened to kick us off too. She knew I had already been hit by the kid.
But then, the bus driver was as ghetto as the punk. Go figure! NEVER EVER AGAIN. I'll hire a limo or a taxi. I could have been hurt had the little bitch known how to hit.
