| - As we were walking towards the exit area of the MGM hotel (lobby area?), I slipped and fell practically doing the splits. A puddle of liquid was left on the floor. I'm currently recovering from a dislocated knee injury and thank goodness I had a brace on, otherwise my knee cap would've fully moved to the side again. During the fall, I did feel my knee cap move, but the brace basically prevented it from going too far. However, my fall at MGM may have prolonged my recovery process. Before my fall, another lady slipped and fell. When she went to go fill out a report, she saw me fall and was shocked that it happened to me also. My husband tried to file a report with someone at the front desk and they told him a supervisor would come and meet us. We waited to file a report and no one came for about 45 minutes. They then sent a security guy instead, not a supervisor. The security guard wanted me to go over to some other area to fill out the report, but by this time, I was tired, annoyed and concerned for my 2 tired, young kids who were waiting all that time to leave. One of the employees also had said that if we leave, it's like it never happened. Wth? Then show some effort and concern that I fell! Honestly, it felt like they were purposely just taking their time and were hoping for us to just leave so they wouldn't have to deal with us. This hotel should've at least pretended to care and apologize for the slippery mess that caused me to fall and possibly re-injure myself! Customer service is awful! I did leave my contact information with the security person, so let's see if they bother to contact me.
