| - With some time to kill before my ultimate game in an hour or so, I pulled in and I found a great time.
I would be premature to say it, but it has one of the best selections of cheap used CDs I've seen so far in northeast Ohio. In the ~15 boxes of $1 CDs [some of which were Buy one get one free], there was an assortment of 2000s indie, rock, a few soundtracks, and a share of late 90s teen pop. Keep in mind, there wasn't any stuff from early 90s 4AD, Mo Wax, Sub pop, or Warp in the $1 CDs, that would be almost asking too much. However, I found some good gems in the boxes after spending some time in there. Not much hip-hop or trip-hop [which leaves the rating as 4 stars], but I'll take the Young Black Teenagers [a mint copy] for $1, and some stuff from a couple local hip-hop artists. Plus, a $1 for a mint copy of Tinariwen: hey, customers' ignorance of music outside of North America is only for my, murray's and your benefit. I walked out of there with 14 CDs for $10, what a steal.
I also saw a small vinyl selection as well.
I didn't even have time to check out the rest of the store, but needless to say, next time I have my weekly ultimate frisbee game in North Olmsted, I'll stop by before hand...too bad it's the same day as payday.
