I stayed here about 10 years ago and was alright but nothing special. But I was back in town about a month ago and needed a cheap room for one night so I decided to stay here. I was surprised by my stay. I usually stay at MGM properties when I'm in Vegas but the Excalibur doesn't have what I'm looking for. But for the price for one night why not? We got to the hotel just before midnight and go to check in and the line was long. It's Vegas long lines are part of the game no big deal. I didn't even look at the VIP/ Mlife check in line because those are usually for gold or higher. But not here it's pearl level and up. Good to know. So I jump out of line and to to the other. Quick friendly service. She upgraded us to a modern design room since we hadn't stayed here in such a long time. Thanks upgrades are always appreciated. It's late I've been traveling after a long day at work and the key doesn't work. Awesome. I get in a after a minute. All is well. The next morning I need to use the business center. It's next to the front desk and hey do what you need for you. I thought it was weird to have it at the desk and not a room you can use but they were so helpful, friendly and efficient I didn't care. After I went looking for breakfast and there's no coffee shop type place here. Sort of odd to me. I go back to my room to get my stuff and check out and the key still doesn't work. I get in and head back to the front desk to check out. Over all I had a great stay even though t was real short. I was only at the hotel about 11 hours and slept most of them. I liked my stay and have plans to be back this summer.
