  • Not every bakery has a disco ball, so when you find one that does, it's your first sign that this is not your ordinary business. It couldn't be ordinary anyway, with Kari in charge. The former co-owner of Retro Bakery, she is back with this new spot in our neck of the woods in North Las Vegas. Longtime fans of the cupcakes and cookies from Retro, we were happy to see that tsp baking company has a similar menu. The cupcakes are mini-size here, plus you get a wide array of cookies in addition to Lappert's ice cream, which Retro did not have. Having ice cream on the menu means that customers can customize their ice cream sandwiches, something I haven't done yet but look forward to doing soon. Not only is the product excellent, but so is the customer service. The quintessential small business, Kari's family works here, too. Her young daughter rung up our order on the last visit and she is quite the young professional. We're happy to have this place so close to us and highly recommend it to all.
