| - Grand Lux has been a staple at the Venetian (and Palazzo) forever. Owned by Cheesecake Factory, their menu is quite expansive and nearly everything here is satisfying.
For me, this place has a little bit of built in nostalgia. My wife and I used to sneak here when we were dating (and she was my boss...well, she still is the boss). Usually we'd hit up Grand Lux around 1am for some late night eats.
Nowadays things are a little different. We're a party of 3, and Grand Lux is great since it's a super family friendly spot and loud enough that if a meltdown does ensue, the entire restaurant doesn't turn around to look at you. Fortunately, on our most recent visit the little man was on his best behavior. We ordered the kids Grilled Cheese and were shocked with how large it was. UUUUUGE. Enough for two kiddo's to share. AND, it was really, really good. My long standing staple item is the Santa Barbara chicken sandwich. Grilled chicken, pepper jack cheese, and avocado on a hamburger bun. So good. Side dishes are decent. I got a house salad, which came with a vinaigrette. It was so-so.
Pricing, given the location on the strip, is really reasonable. $13-16 for most sandwiches. Pasta dishes & entrees a tad more expensive. Given the location, quality of food and service (very good), I definitely think Grand Lux is one of the better values on the strip.
