I can only speak for the mole radio frequency/laser removal treatment I got about 3 years ago. I went to my normal dermatologist to get a mole near my nose below my right eye to be removed. It was a flat, black mole half the size of a pencil eraser. She said she wouldnt do it because they use the scalpel method and it could grow back and leave a deep scar. I'm surprised most dermatologists dont do this laser removal! Made a last minute appointment here and Doctor seemed very nice. She numbed me with a gel but that really didnt do anything. The laser hurt a little, like stinging- close to getting a tattoo. Slight burning smell, but done in less than 5 minutes. She gave me some ointment and bandaid, and said scar would be less visible in about 2 weeks, which was a lie lol. Cost only $50 and I had a wet, deep looking open wound for about 2 months. Now the scar is super faint and I can barely tell I ever had a mole. Definitely recommend for ONLY flat non-cancerous moles that you dont like. Wish I had pictures to show.
